When one of our friends organised a group trip to Montana, Rob and I immediately signed ourselves up – it sounded like a perfect opportunity to explore some parts of USA that neither of us had been before and I was excited to try out some winter travel photography!
We ended up staying in an amazing ski-in ski-out vacation home. When we arrived, the house had layers of fresh snow settled around the property and incredible views of the surrounding mountains.
When I realised how close we would be to Yellowstone, I jumped at the chance to do a winter snowmobiling trip through the national park. We spent an entire day snowmobiling from West Yellowstone to Old Faithful and back. It was every bit as fun as it sounds and I got some incredible photos of the trip with my new 55-200mm telephoto lens!
