I was sent to Albany, New York, on behalf of 1800 Flowers, who asked me to cover the festival for their blog – Petal Talk. The festival, held in Washington Park, had food stalls, stages with live jazz and country music tunes, and the joy of the festival – the tulips. These irresistible flowers, which were once traded in Holland as a commodity much like gold, were layered in perfect color combinations and perfumed the air with the scent of spring.
